97.1 The Ticket SportsFest - The Ultimate Sports Fan Appreciation Event 3.20
97.1 The Ticket, Detroit’s Sports Station and home of the Detroit Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and Tigers presents the 97.1 The Ticket SportsFest – the ultimate metro Detroit sports fan appreciation event on Saturday, March 20 at The Rock Financial Showplace from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.. Admission is free. Parking is $5 per car.
SportsFest will bring together fans and activities related to all four major local sports teams for a fun filled interactive day for sports lovers and families. 97.1 The Ticket, which can be heard on-air, online at 971theticket.com and through mobile devices, will broadcast live from SportsFest beginning at 10 a.m. The event will showcase premier areas designated to each Detroit sports team featuring youth clinics, pro shops, memorabilia displays, mascot appearances, sports courts, speed pitch machines, inflatables and more. Other show highlights include autograph sessions with current and former Detroit players, a Sports Pub to watch the college basketball tournament, roundtable discussions with Ticket personalities, contests, and a Minor Leagues area for the kids. 97.1’s Ticket Chicks will be onsite along with the Detroit Pistons Dance Team Automotion.
Pistons Post Game at the Canadian Club Terrace Wednesday 3.10
The Pistons will take on All-Star Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, March 10 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Following the game, Matt Dery will be hosting the Pistons Post-Game Show from the Canadian Club Terrace at the top of the east gate entrance. Stop by after the game.

Rene Bourque assisted on the tying goal early in the third period and scored the game-winner less than two minutes later, as the Calgary Flames edged the Detroit Red Wings, 4-2, at Joe Louis Arena.
